I wanted to sit down and share something personal and exciting with you all: after years of building beautiful spaces and relationships in Greenville, Brandon and I — along with our four daughters — are officially planting deeper roots in the Fort Mill, SC & the Charlotte metro area.
Many of you know that Clever has always been more than a business to us — it’s been our family’s passion and calling.
Our Design-Build Remodeling Background
Back in Florida, we ran a full-service remodeling and design company, renovating hundreds of luxury homes, crafting custom cabinetry and closet systems in our own shop, and working hand-in-hand with homeowners to bring their visions to life. That hands-on, integrated design-build experience is still the heartbeat of what we do today.
When we moved to Greenville, SC, we fell in love with the community and the clients who trusted us with their homes. We had the joy of creating everything from custom closet systems to cabinetry while completing some unique renovations — and even had one of our projects featured on the 2025 GVLMOD House Tour.
It truly was a season of growth, learning, and connection, and we’re so grateful for every homeowner, friend, and neighbor who was part of that journey. Greenville will always be part of our story.
Why Charlotte? Why Now?
As our family grew, so did our vision for Clever. We began to sense a calling to expand — to bring our passion for detail, beauty, and thoughtful design to new spaces and new neighbors.
The Charlotte metro area offers an incredible blend of vibrant communities, diverse homes, and families who value quality and intentional living. It feels like the perfect place for the next chapter of Clever.
If you’ve been following our journey, you know that Clever has always been rooted in more than construction — it’s about creating homes that truly support the way families live.
Today, I’m excited to share a big milestone for our family and our business: we’re expanding our design-build remodeling services to the greater Charlotte Metro area.
This move represents growth, vision, and a deep commitment to serving homeowners who value thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a seamless remodeling experience.
And now, with our Mobile Design Studio launching in Spring 2026, we’ll be bringing inspiration right to your door — finishes, samples, and ideas all in hand so the design process feels fun, personal, and effortless.
